Position
Our canvassers and petition circulators travel to cities and counties all over the state to talk to citizens about issues that will affect their towns. New team members generally start out as circulators themselves. At TPS, we offer room to grow and advance to becoming a team leader and manager.
Requirements
One of the most important requirements is that you must be willing to travel. Our work often takes us on the road for weeks at a time in order to stay in a place until the project is over.
Be a people person. You will be talking to different people all day long about sometimes controversial issues. It is key that you can remain positive throughout the day.
Be a problem solver. Sometimes issues may come up that require a quick fix. You must be able to answer questions you haven’t heard before.
Payment Structure
Canvassers and petition circulators typically make between $75 - $150 a day. A more comprehensive breakdown of pay can be provided upon request. Additionally, hotel is paid for and gas is paid for as expenses for those who have their own means of transportation.
